The front could cause hazardous driving conditions late tonight. Wind chill temperatures in the single digits are expected.

Light snow is possible through the night, with minimal accumulation expected. While northern parts of the city saw a period of heavy snow in the morning, the snow moved quickly and above-freezing afternoon temperatures melted much of the snow.

"So even though we did get tremendously heavy snow for about an hour, we were lucky that it moved off quickly or we could have been dealing with much higher totals," Meteorologist Ty Judd said.

Sunshine and temperatures in the mid-30s are expected to melt any remaining snow in the metro area Tuesday, Judd said. Tuesday night is expected to be partly cloudy with lows in the high teens.

Fewer than 5,000 homes and businesses in Oklahoma are without power from the winter storm on January 28.

The Oklahoma Corporation Commission reported that 4,729 remained without power today, including 1,750 served by Hollis-based Harmon County Electric and 1,065 served by Binger-based Caddo County Electric.

- Tuesday: Mostly sunny. High near 34. North-northwest winds 11 to 16 mph, gusting to 23 mph.

- Tuesday night: Partly cloudy. Low around 19. North-northwest winds 3 to 8 mph.
